Dr. Malek is an associate professor of endocrinology at University of Maryland School of Medicine where her clinical work is focused on type 1 and type 2 diabetes and hormonal and metabolic health for women, including gestational diabetes, polycystic ovarian syndrome and primary ovarian insufficiency.  She is also responsible for training the next generation of endocrinologist as the program director for the endocrinology fellowship.
