Hi y'all! Todays PEP Talk is all about some of my previous injuries, how I overcame them, and what I learned in the process of overcoming them. Injuries happen to pretty much every athlete- it's an unfortunate part of the process. While I don't wish any injury on anyone, being more prepared for them mentally and physically is such an advantage when it comes to personal growth and improving your mental game. Like a broken bone becomes stronger after it is healed, same goes for our mental game when we overcome an injury. While injuries aren't fun, they are definitely opportunities to grow and learn from. Hopefully our discussion regarding injury assists someone out there in hopes of pursuing excellence.
