In this episode of "Hungover Homebrewing", Matt & Kevin talk about the Aeropress, brewing recipes, and eventually, the state of the coffee industry and the state of the world during the current crisis. We talk about how anyone can do their small part to help the service & hospitality industries, who are most extremely affected by this. Amidst an uncertain time, we tried very hard not to center the podcast on the current crisis, but continued to find ourselves there since the breadth of the impact is so wide. Wendelien van Bunnik is a Dutch barista working at Single Estate Coffee Roasters in The Hague. Besides working shift behind the bar and at the roastery, she dedicated the last few years becoming the active competition barista. She became the Dutch Barista Champion 2019, representing The Netherlands at World Barista Championships in Boston. Then, she took a short flight to London in November 2019 and became the World AeroPress Champion!

2019 WAC Recipe:
30g coarsely ground coffew
100g water at 92ºC
Stir vigorously 20 times
Press out excess air
Press at 40sec
Add 120g bypass water (92ºC)
Cool to 60ºC - Enjoy!
