We are living in times of great change, as we become more introspective we need to challenge ourselves to have more discussions on what justice for all will look like in the next decade. Join us for a workshop and discussion on the future of public safety in times of greater social change.
The purpose of this workshop is to address the divide that is happening in our country. On one side we acknowledge that the jobs of law enforcement and public safety is not an easy one. On the other hand, there are lots of data that supports the existence of bias, discrimination and over-policing in communities of color. This is a workshop that is intended to present the facts, brainstorm the perspectives, and hear from law enforcement. Build Community and Police trust. This should have been called conversations with police. Because there is a conversation to be had if you want to improve police.
