Welcome back! In today’s episode, we talk about the different ways we have come to know God since we first gave our lives to Him. As important as it is to know God, don't forget that God wants to know you too. He wants to look at you and see His child. But how do we walk in this daily? If we look at Matthew 7:22-23 (nkjv of coursseee) it says '' Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’' What I love about these verses is the revelation that reliance and emphasis on our works will not move God to know. Once again it's all about our heart posture, humbling ourselves before God is the start, obedience comes next.
1 Samuel 15:22 NKJV
'' So Samuel said:
“Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams''
