Welcome back! In today’s episode, Tomi has some questions for us (yaaaaay!), we reflect on our red and green flags, and speak on the topic of 'second chances'. Ephesians 4:32 says ''And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.'', encouraging as to be compassionate towards others, truly forgiving which relates to second chances. Christ gave us a second chance (multiple chances in fact), so who are to not give second chances to people, BUT! wisdom has to be exercised because a second chance may not mean what you believe it to be, it could also speak to your heart posture towards that person, not thinking or wishing evil upon them but rather praying that God sees them and draws them near to Him. Don't run back to toxic environments in the name of second chances.... apply context and wisdom to everything and most importantly pray and allow God to guide you, He genuinely wants to do life with you.
