I left my family for five days and went to a women's leadership retreat in Tulum. In this episode, I reflect on the reactions people had when I told them what I was doing. The reactions were reminiscent to those I received when telling people I was leaving corporate: disbelief, shock, jealousy. Creating space for myself and actually taking action toward the life I want didn't happen magically. I worked diligently and engaged in courageous and uncomfortable conversations.
My challenge for you is to put pen to paper for two to three minutes and write, "What is it that I truly desire?" Remove all possible barriers and allow yourself to dream.
