What is a sabbatical? Perhaps you have heard the term, but have you ever thought about implementing it as a regular part of your life? In today's episode Mike discusses the benefits of the sabbatical practice and how it could be an essential part of finding true renovation in your soul. 

What is a real Sabbatical? The elements of a real sabbatical are:

  1. A place and time to eliminate or manage the distractions.
  2. A place and time to separate from normal duties and demands and focus on recovery and wellness.
  3. A place and time for reprieve from much of the conflict which is engaged in normal life.
  4. A place and time to reset the practices and postures of a Holy Life (i.e., slowing down, rest, prayer, meditation, etc.).
