Well, this week we did things a little differently and dug a little deeper into our subjects. We started with the usual updates on UK’s Official Singles Chart, however commenting about two covers that were done specifically to benefit COVID-19 relates causes, and gave our weekly “New Music Friday” recommendations (1:45). We kicked off our agenda with sports talking about the NFL draft, the audience it drew, and some of the most buzzed names of the weekend (7:02). Thereafter, shifting towards social media platforms, we talked about Snapchat, some of its latest unveiled numbers, and its adopted approach regarding sales of ad space (20:52). Finally, focusing on streaming, we also discussed some of Netflix’s latest disclosed numbers (29:45), subscribers and financials, and stayed on that lane to give our weekly movie recommendations, Extraction and Time to Hunt, both on the platform (39:23). As of our featured artist of the week, we [re] introduced you to Half•Alive, an American trio that combines different music genres apart from interesting choreographies and music videos (47:27) – @halfaliveco (Instagram & Twitter).
