Description

This week we are focusing on women who commit "money scams". Nathalie starts with the story of Rita A. Crundwell, who embezzled $50 million of public funds while serving as the city comptroller of Dixon, IL. Rachel discusses the case of DeAnne Stidham, one of the founders of LuLaRoe. DeAnne started her company with the intention of providing opportunities for women. However, when consultants started leaving the company because of bad products and shady practices, LuLaRoe started to get slammed with lawsuits. These two women took advantage of others in order to live extravagant lifestyles and their lies eventually caught up with them.
