Sinéad Crowley has published three crime novels in the DS Claire Boyle series, Can Anybody Help Me? Are You Watching Me? and One Bad Turn, all of which were shortlisted for the Irish Book Awards. She is also Arts & Media Correspondent for RTÉ.

In our conversation, Sinéad gives us her take on what makes a good crime novel and shares insights into her creative writing process.

She also talks about her work as a journalist, and why it is so important for young people to learn media literacy and know the difference between fact and opinion.
