"John Lawson’s family moved to South Africa from Glasgow, Scotland in 1969. After a family trauma, John’s parents split up. His mother returned to the UK with John and his brother and moved into the roughest council housing estate in Europe where he learned to protect himself with violence. As an adult, John became involved in organised crime. Subsequently, he ended up in prison serving a 5-year sentence for extortion. Here John had an encounter that would change his life for the good, for good."
