Rusty Nail Cocktail (njoyspirits.com):
Ingredients
- 4 parts Scotch
- 1 part Drambuie
- 1 large cube "clear ice"
Directions
- Pour all ingredients directly into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice.
- Stir gently.
- Garnish with a lemon twist.
- Serve.
Road Trip Cocktail (feastmagazine.com):
Ingredients
- 1 oz cognac (such as Pierre Ferrand)
- 1 oz rye whiskey (such as Rittenhouse)
- ½ oz crème de cassis
- 1 barspoon lingonberry preserves
- 1 oz lemon juice
- granulated sugar, for rim
- kosher salt, for rim
- lemon twist, for garnish
Directions
- Make a mixture that is half salt and half sugar; rim serving glass with mixture.
- Add all other ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake vigorously for about 20 seconds, then strain into serving glass.
- Garnish with lemon twist.
