The reason why Philadelphia struggled against teams like Miami, Milwaukee, Colorado, and the first game of the Cubs series are the pitchers were switching their pattern up against batters. In the last 13 games, Philadelphia's pitchers failed to recognize that in the first 4 innings they were hitting the strike zone effectively such as their fastballs were having success in the left and bottom of the strike zone. Then all of a sudden they were hitting the strike zone with the fastballs in different areas of the plate and I am like, hold on we are not failing in the first 2 areas of the plate, why are the Phillies changing up the pattern here. That is the main reason why hitters were succeeding against the Phillies pitchers because they took advantage of that mistake. I also brought on a few people to discuss why the Phillies are collapsing and who is to blame for this team's recent downfall. #phillies67
