While on a trip to Ireland, I took time to chat with Aidan Boylen. Aidan is the CEO of Irish Collegiate Esports. We spoke about the esports landscape across Ireland, and shared some stories about the connections made in Ireland through esports. Esports in Ireland reflects much of the grassroots growth seen in its sports history, and some of the issues with growth may be seen in our own programs in K12 education.
