Tom Dore is the Head of Education for the British Esports Association (BEA), the UK's not for profit national body for esports. The BEA focus on grassroots esports and working with young people. The BEA also run the British Esports Championships for schools and colleges, and have also carried out ground breaking esports projects in Alternative Provision schools. In partnership with global education publisher, Pearson, the BEA has also authored and launched the first esports qualification of its kind in the world for 16-19 year olds. Tom is still a High School Science teacher, and his career has spanned 15 years across a range of alternative provision, public and private schools.
