Taking a new approach to esports, the El Paso Honey Badgers (EPHB) came together through a STEM Lab at the University of Texas-El Paso (UTEP). By reaching out to middle and high schools in the El Paso, Texas area, they are forging a new path to create a K12 to college pipeline through esports. This interview involves six different members of the team including, their founder and sponsor, Mike Pitcher, EPHB President, Caroline Salas, as well as Karla Ayala, Fernando Monroy, Sarah Huizar, and Andrew Clanan. Their stories are as unique as their approach to esports.
