Description

Episode 025: Bree Schaaf has been involved with sliding sports since 2002 and in 2007 she made the switch to bobsled.  During the 2008-2009 season, Schaaf claimed one gold, one silver and four bronze medals on the America's Cup circuit.  Her first place finish at the 2009 National Championships gave her a spot on the World Cup team for the second half of the season.  She placed 5th at the 2010 Olympics in Whistler, British Columbia.

Schaaf graduated from Portland State University, where she played volleyball. 

Bree is currently working for Global Athlete as a Program Manager and is the Second Vice Chair of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee. She is also a seasonal sliding sports analyst with NBC Sports and a coach for ParaSkeleton and ParaBobsled for the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation.
