Sterling is a rising star in the comedy world, known for his high-energy performances and relatable material. He draws inspiration from his personal experiences with relationships, family, current events, and those awkward moments that we've all faced. With performances all across Canada, the U.S., and even overseas, Sterling has made a name for himself as a finalist in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, winner of the Edmonton International Comedy Festival's "Young Guns" competition, and a finalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition.
In addition to his stand-up career, Sterling is also a talented writer and actor, having worked on season twenty of the Canadian comedy TV show "This Hour Has 22 Minutes." But that's not all - Sterling has even performed for the troops in Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan, and traveled to Dubai and the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal.
In this episode, we'll dive into Sterling's experiences on stage, including his unforgettable moment of bombing at the Apollo and performing at The Comedy Store with T.I. We'll also hear about his very first time on stage, which happened to be for the legendary Nubian Night hosted by Kenny Robinson.
