Description

Hold onto your socks, we're switching pantheons! In this episode we talk about how the Vikings believed the world was made. We also discuss moths. And sexy, sexy trees.

Show Notes:

The movie we could not remember was Encino Man (shoutout to @MinFelurian on twitter for knowing it!)

The well Nidhogg sits in is called Hvergelmir (which translates to “Bubbling Cauldron” or “Roaring Kettle”, good luck pronouncing it though).

The “nordic letter” used to spell Urdr’s name (and a number of other things) is called “eth” or “edh” and was used in a number of languages including Icelandic and Old English. It was eventually replaced by the letter D, and sometimes “dh”.

The video about “body counting” mentioned at the end of the episode is called “58 and other Confusing Numbers” by Numberphile.
