Parents can have a large influence as to how we are brought up which can span a plethora of areas in our life whether it's how you conduct yourself to what religion you follow. This was prevalent in Jagpreet's story as he describes how he was introduced to Sikhi and how he decided to be treasurer of the Sikh society at university. These roles within a society are no easy task and require strong leaders to be able to traverse the good times as well as the bad times which may have occurred throughout his tenure within the society as so we decided to discuss that as well as what he would have done differently when looking back on the whole experience.
