n this episode of the Cerebral Palsy and Fitness Podcast, I have Doug Noll. He was born nearly deaf, nearly blind, crippled with two club feet and left handed. At an early age Doug had to decide whether to overcome these disabilities, and he did! Professionally, Doug is a lawyer-turned-peacemaker, best-selling author of four books, speaker, visionary, and teacher. He is also the co-founder of Prison of Peace (www.prisonofpeace.org), training murderers in maximum security prisons how to be peacemakers and mediators in their prison communities. Doug's personal side, he is an airplane and helicopter pilot, second degree black belt, tai chi master, a Level III certified ski instructor, a whitewater rafter, fly fisher, sailor, and jazz violinist. He also teaches people how to use their emotions as part of their hidden genius. One of the ways I do this is by teaching people how to listen others into existence. Your audience will learn a super power, how to listen others into existence, which will transform their lives and their businesses. Doug also facilitates difficult conversations between people who are avoiding a tough topic. He does this at no cost if the people are willing to live stream our conversation. Doug does this to show how real people with real problems can have a hard conversation and come out feeling good about it. These are powerful relationship skills that build intimacy, trust, and emotional safety.
