We move places as we grow up, sometimes involuntarily if our parents decide to move houses or countries. Later in life based on our own decision as we study and accept jobs. This implies often not only to move our stuff but to learn a new language, mingle into a new culture, and to create a place we can call home.
Nowadays, the options are manifold and people decide to live and work remotely without having a base. But then what is it like to live this independent? Does that lifestyle allow us to create a sense of home? And actually, the question is what makes a place a home? We believe it's mostly the people that create a sense of home. And once you leave, you miss the connection you had there. Creating a sense of home takes time but it's time well invested.
