Jess Neal Woods attended SWU from 2003-2005 and married Josh Woods(class of 04). They currently live in Alabama where Josh pastors Prattville Wesleyan Church. Jess is the author of "The Process of Fraying", a historical fiction novel based on the life of her great-grandmother who struggled with depression and ultimately took her own life. Jess shares about the journey of researching her family's history, the stigma of mental illness during the period, and hearing from mental health experts. It's a journey that led to the publication of her first novel and a wealth of healing and closure for her family.
The Process of Fraying is available at Amazon in Kindle or Paperback format.
