On Sunday, James started our new series on Nehemiah, and began by giving us a historical overview to help us understand the context in which the book was written.
James looked at how Nehemiah was burdened for the state of Jerusalem and how his response was to pray and to fast. He also spoke about how vision is often birthed out of a place of burden.
