Gary begins by introducing The Message Trust for whom he works. The Message Trust is a worldwide movement passionately sharing the love of Jesus Christ in words and actions with the hardest-to-reach young people and communities. After a short introductory video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OkMzoHDjwE), he describes some of the encounters which have transformed the lives of those with whom The Message Trust has worked.
Reading from John 4:4-26, Gary recounts the story of the woman at the well in Samaria who has a life-changing rendezvous with Jesus - a story which is a pattern for the way that we are to bring life to the damaged, hurting and lost around us.
He describes the way that Jesus cuts through to the heart of the issue for the woman, and leads her to the revelation about Himself, and the Living Water He gives with the power to transform.
Finally, Gary challenges us with his own paraphrase of the Lord's Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20.
