Description

"Mixedish" Episode 204 had me "Living on a Prayer." Rainbow decides to explore the Christian faith and the writers take liberties to explore the skeptic's perspective and those of good faith in the church.  It warms our hearts to see Bow love the experience of the church and the Bible so much. In the end, Bow decides she will explore all faiths, being the inclusive, biracial-type A she is.
Meanwhile, Alicia finds that she didn’t realize how much she had been missing her childhood church and decides it’s time for her to start attending again. Paul is concerned but still supportive. Harrison is the 'doubting Catholic' who shows he’s more about the culture of Catholicism than he is about the faith and Denise uses the opportunity to show off her fashion sense.
If you are seeking some advice on how to navigate race relations and the Christian faith, I would encourage you to explore the Be The Bridge and The Witness - Pass the Mic podcast's and ministries', where leaders, Latasha Morrison and Jemar Tisby, among others, lay down some facts for you all to ponder on and maybe even help restore your faith.
