Description

I lived two doors down from Ershad our freshman year of college. I moseyed along the English major route, and he went to med school. We both ended up in Brooklyn, where Dr. Elahi worked in the ER of Woodhull hospital. Last fall, he and his wife, also an ER doctor, moved south to Orlando so they could work less and spend more time with their two young children. I got a chance to chat with him tonight about his perspective on Covid-19 and how the Ebola-readiness protocols he helped implement during his time at Woodull have helped him prepare for this novel virus.
