I love my Hot Tub, but it frustrates me that the manufacturers make the maximum temperature 104 degrees. I should be allowed to burn myself if I want! ;-) This week it rained quite a bit, and filled my pool to its max capacity. When the water gets too high in the pool, it starts to creep in the Hot Tub, but I found a solution for that. I plug up the the spillover with my back. The only issue with is that about every 30 seconds my back gets splashed with 48 degree water from the pool. What was supposed to be a nice relaxing experience all the sudden has become very unpleasant. Part of my body is nice and warm and the other half is bitter cold! In the 1980's McDonalds came out with a burger called the McDLT. It was packaged so they could keep the hot side of your burger hot and the cold side of your burger cold, because no one likes wilted lettuce on their burger! So many of us live our lives with a foot in one world and the other foot in another. Jesus is calling us to come into Light with him, but its hard for us to leave the shadows of the darkness, so we don't fully commit our lives to Him. He offers us eternal life, but we choose to live in our own earthly kingdom that will soon fade away. In this lesson we will discuss how we need to quit holding onto this dark world and fully commit to the Kingdom of God.
