In 2003 I read my first Harry Potter book. I was hooked, as soon as I could, I read the next 4, and then eagerly awaited the release of each book that followed. In 2011 the Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened in Orlando. I couldn't wait to go! I've been at least 5 times. I love how the places and foods of this fantasy novel just come to life at "Harry Potter Land". How incredible is it to become part of a really good story? The Gospel of John, shows us that this once happened, but it wasn't just a fantasy! Our Lord and Creator, came down from heaven and entered this world. "The Word became Flesh"! In this lesson we get to talk about how amazing it is that our God loves us so much, he was willing to leave the splendor of Heaven, to not only be with his creation, but to feel what we feel, to experience our pain, to show us how to love like he does, and to give his life for us so that we can live with him eternally.
