A while back in Kilgore, an Oversized truck decided to take out the pedestrian bridge by the college. Since it is expensive to replace the bridge, the city decided to just put a crosswalk with a crosswalk red light. No one understands how this light works! When red people stop, when flashing red people stay stopped, even if no pedestrian is in the crosswalk. People don’t know what to do, so they stay stopped when everyone else is stopped. Until they see me! I drive up to the flashing red, stop, look both ways for a pedestrian, and then proceed with caution. This blows the minds of those who have been waiting! They never knew they could proceed with caution if it’s flashing red and no pedestrian is in the crosswalk, they just waited with the herd of sheep. It’s always good to have a leader show us how to navigate through life, and in this lesson, we will talk about the Good Shepherd, and how he leads us to a full, abundant, and eternal life.
