We don't always like how series finales of our favorite shows end. Often it wasn't what we were expecting to happen. I think this was the case with the show Seinfeld. Jerry and his friends ended up in jail for violating the "Good Samaritan" law. While this cast of actors was often very funny, the writers of the show created these characters to be totally self-absorbed. It really shouldn't have surprised us that eventually it would catch up to them. People have been pretty selfish since the beginning, that is why Jesus was able to show us how we should respond when we come by someone in need. The Good Samaritan story has shaped the lives of both Christians and the secular world for 2,000 years. This week we look into a great story told by the master teacher, and see how it can help us transform our own life.
