Earlier this week I came across this Mel Robbins YouTube video while running. (see link below)

She talks about her 5 second rule & actually wrote a book about it. It changed her life and helped her create a habit of taking action each morning. For quite some time I’ve used three deep breaths and practice it each day. Having two daughters gives me the ability to work on it with them too. When they are dealing with the stress and pressures of life or they are getting emotional, take 3 deep breaths. Today’s episode discusses a bit about that and how it has worked for us.
