Description

Hello, I'm Michael Williams, an accredited end-of-life planning educator, and facilitator. Starting in May 2021, my colleague Diane DeVivo and I will be breaking one of the last taboos: talking about Death. Our conversations are inspired by our discussions with folk just like you who join Diane and me to share our feelings, thoughts, and experiences related to death, dying, and grief. Our goal is to make talking about death more open and honest and less scary. Given the recent pandemic, many of us have been touched by death and awakened to our mortality. Instead of ignoring the subject, Diane and I want to open it up for discussion. In addition, we'll also provide practical tips and resources on creating your own personal end-of-life plans including wills, powers-of-attorney and substitute decision-makers, Advance Directives, funeral plans, legacies, and lots more.
Our first episode will launch in May. You'll find it wherever you find your favourite podcast. That's the "Death-Defying Discussion" podcast with Diane DeVivo and me, Michael Williams.
