I became an actor because of Marlon Brando. I fashioned my lifestyle after his, right down to his 'societal' commitments. It's really uncanny how closely my life has paralleled his in many ways. Say what you will about his characters, but you must say that he was a man with character and more, conscience, commitment and compassion. He was no saint, but he got that it was his skin that created his career.
