Let's define Forgiveness in a more understandable manner. Forgiveness is a Choice - a choice each one of us has to make. When we exercise forgiveness it changes our role, from being the offended or the victim it changes us to become a minister. Forgiveness is giving up my right to hurt you for hurting me. One way or the other, one of us has been hurt and we ourselves has experienced being the one who caused hurt to another. But it takes a level of maturity, a level of forgiveness, to realize that the ones who hurt us need forgiveness and those for we have hurt to realize that we need forgiveness because we all have problems, we all are broken and we all need love - We all need Jesus.
Let's evaluate the life that we each live, are we really redeemed by the blood of Jesus? Are we really saved? Do we really call ourselves Christians? Or are we those so called Christians that put people in cages, hold the key and wait for revenge? Are we those who don't show love? Today we get to assess ourselves, reflect on God's word and begin to act to apply Gods word in our lives.
