And August is rain month, and with the rains come thoughts of floods and wind swept things. But just like the Trees that hold on to the soil and to the land, with their strong, dug deep roots, fearing nothing. Let's grow deeper in connection with Christ, built up with the conviction that He is doing something in our lives and rested in the condition that just as He has brought us out of our sorrows and into our easy days, that He will do it again, and again. And just like those deeply rooted trees, our bond with Christ will cause us not to have a reason to fear the strong wind and rain.
