"Her current positions on important issues:
- Abolish the death penalty
- Reform/reduce cash bail
- In opposition to her past hard stance on drugs, she suppotrts Corey Booker's Next Step Act which would eliminate the crack cocaine sentencing disparity by reducing it from 18:1 to 1:1, as well as scrapping past pot convictions
- Eliminate mandatory minimum sentences
- Eliminate private prisons (already being eliminated in CA thanks Gav!!!)
- Provide subsidies for affordable housing
- Expand tax benefits for middle-class and low-income Americans
- Raise the federal minimum wage to $15/hour
- Expand or fix existing debt-relief programs for students
- campaign finance reform
- ELIMINATE ELECTORAL COLLEGE
- Support a ban on assault weapons
- Opposes Medicare for All, but would expand coverage (Meh)
- Legalize cannabis
- Slash defense budget (bring troops home)
- Reverse the 2017 corporate tax cut
