Picture it: Italy, 1939. You're looking for a job or maybe a husband, either way, you are heading to see Leonarda Cianciuilli. This woman was rumored to dabble in the occult and provided many services. Starting with a disturbing childhood, a runaway marriage, and a hex from her mother Leonarda was doomed to lead a troubled life. Consumed by grief and later fear she made decisions that only she could understand. Things took a turn when Italy became involved in WWII and Leonarda had a choice to make. She was willing to do anything in order to save her sons life.
