In John chapter 4 Jesus did not overwhelm the woman at the well. He didn’t come on too strong and He allowed her to draw conclusions before he revealed Himself to her as the Messiah. We can take a lesson here when we are witnessing to people not to be arrogant, condescending, or rude. Instead we are to be humble and remember a large percentage of what people will notice is not if we have all the right answers but are we meek and gentle.
