It might sound simple but I've been in breakout rooms that were not properly conducted or timed out so that everyone gets an opportunity to speak. Don't be that person. I regularly host breakout rooms for global events. It's the host's responsibility to manage not only the topic, the conversation, the energy, the flow of the room but also the timing. I use the stopwatch on my phone.
