Heaven. It's something that most people in Western society have some conception of, whether they even believe in it or not. Immediately, many picture golden streets in the clouds, harps and angels and winged babies, and of course the power to fly, go through walls, and eat whatever we want, whenever we want. But is that what the Bible actually describes, or have we simply allowed the cultural perceptions to unknowingly dictate our understanding of this essential biblical teaching?
