Colossians sets forth a theology of the absolute sufficiency of Jesus Christ. Since Jesus has completed the work of our salvation, there is no reason for believers to add anything to it. Paul tells His readers that Chris is all - and all that you need. You don't need Christ plus philosophy or Christ plus additional rituals. In Christ, you have been made complete.
