Description

If we think about it, most of our lives are governed by fear. The things we do, or don’t do, say or don’t say. Opportunities lost or taken. So it is not surprising that particularly in today’s day and age, we have a name for practically every fear - real or imagined. Let’s talk about phobias.

Fun Fact:

Phobos was the god of fear in Greek mythology. The story goes that Phobos was a frightening and formidable god—so much so that warriors would paint his picture on their shields to give their enemies a real fright and to get them to run away in terror. So a phobic reaction resembles someone terrified of something.

Quote:

“Anything you fear is a shackle to your soul. It is a phobia that tethers and blinds your ability to see and comprehend your life directions, making you feel discouraged and hopeless in times of danger. ”  ― Michael Bassey Johnson
