Let my life be like a rainbow
whose colours teach us unity;
Let me follow the great circle, the roundness of power.
One with the moon and the sun,
and the ripple of the waters,
Following the way of honour,
a guide to the weak,
A rock of strength in my word that shall say no lie,
no lie nor deception.

“Like a Rainbow” was performed by the Treble Choir of Houston under the direction of Marianna Parnas-Simpson and accompanied by pianist Andreea Muț at the Houston Chamber Choir’s concert “Circlesong” in the 2019-2020 season.
