Description

Get Caught in the Krausefire as Mike and I talk about some historical perspectives of natural resources. On this episode, Mike teaches myself and listeners about the "almost" Lewis and Clark, who were a French father and son team of botanists that started the research of North American Sylva as well as some chit chat about the short lived logging area in our very own upper peninsula. We discuss the impact that Henry Ford has made in the College of Forest Resources and Environmental Science specifically, and explain the life of surveyors who participated in the Public Land Survey.
