Ancient Covenant Ritual
1) Exchange Coats
2) Exchange Weapons
3) Cut the animal in half and walk in an “8”
4) Cut palms and mix blood
5) Hot ashes rubbed in cut to make SCAR
6) Exchange Names (take a covenant name)
7) Recite the terms of the covenant
8) Share a meal of Bread and Wine (Matthew 26:26-28)
26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
28 For this is my blood of the new (gk.-freshness, freshly matured/aged)testament (gk. – covenant), which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
