Jas 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
GOD – as a friend of Abraham lets him know what HE IS DOING. SERVANTS GET COMMANDS/FRIENDS GET THE PLANS & REMEMBER A FRIEND DOES WHATEVER I SAY (WORKS BOTH WAYS) – I.E. NEGOTIATE WITH YOUR FRIEND
2Pe 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example unto those that after should live ungodly;
2Pe 2:7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
2Pe 2:8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with unlawful deeds;)
ABRAHAM KNEW THE PRESENCE and LOT experienced the power & even though Lot was in the Covenant and rescued from judgment – He NEVER again ENJOYED RICHES, HONOR, or LIFE.
