Crunchyroll has been holding the Anime Awards for 7 (oh fuck I'm old) years. While it's great to celebrate the medium and the industry of anime, I have to wonder why I still can't sit through the thing. Is it because of the bad overdubbing? The weird presenters? or maybe awards shows, just suck? Let's talk this through and see if we can't imagine a better version of the anime awards.
