“Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said."
Just as he said.
In Matthew 20:28, Jesus said "In the same way, the Son of Man did not come to be served. He came to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many people.”
2000 years ago Jesus died but was resurrected as part of God's plan for you and me. Everything Jesus said then is still happening now. Jesus' death and resurrection's impact is still echoing and relevant today. This Easter Sunday, we look back at the miracle that unfolded in Matthew 28:1-10 and celebrate the hope and victory found in Christ. Whether it is your first time time or 20th time hearing this good news, we challenge you to read Matthew for yourselves and look at the life and death of Jesus and the love he led with.
